DMCA & Copyright Policy

We respect the rights of artists and brands. Valid takedown notices are acted on quickly, usually within two business days.

Submitting a notice

Send your notice to dmca@freesvg.uk with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Request”.

What your notice must include

  • Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The exact URL on freesvg.uk of the material you want removed.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act for the rights holder.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

  1. 01We acknowledge receipt of your notice by email.
  2. 02The material is removed or disabled while we review it.
  3. 03The person who submitted the design, where applicable, is notified and given the chance to respond.
  4. 04You are told the outcome once the review is complete.

Counter-notices

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your contact details, the material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.

Repeat infringers

Contributors who repeatedly submit infringing material are permanently barred from submitting again, and their existing files are removed.
