DMCA & Copyright Policy
We respect the rights of artists and brands. Valid takedown notices are acted on quickly, usually within two business days.
Submitting a notice
Send your notice to dmca@freesvg.uk with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Request”.
What your notice must include
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL on freesvg.uk of the material you want removed.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act for the rights holder.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
- 01We acknowledge receipt of your notice by email.
- 02The material is removed or disabled while we review it.
- 03The person who submitted the design, where applicable, is notified and given the chance to respond.
- 04You are told the outcome once the review is complete.
Counter-notices
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your contact details, the material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
Repeat infringers
Contributors who repeatedly submit infringing material are permanently barred from submitting again, and their existing files are removed.
