Cutting tips for Shell designs
Size the design on the canvas before you cut rather than scaling the finished piece — thin strokes and script lettering weed far more easily once the whole design is at least four inches wide. Run a test cut on a scrap of the exact material; the same setting behaves differently on matte, glossy, and textured stock.
Remember to flip the design for iron-on; the carrier sheet faces the heat plate, not the fabric. For layered designs, cut each color separately and keep the unaltered SVG open as your alignment guide. Full machine-by-machine steps are in the SVG how-to guide.
